The following organizations diligently work toward supporting the mining industry and reasonable regulation.   They are very active in tracking national and local legislation. AEMA engages on the issues and policies affecting the mining industry on a daily basis.  From actively engaging members of Congress and their staffs,  tracking and issuing comments on federal rule making, to monitoring litigation; AEMA works hard to insure mining has its voice heard at all levels of government.

 

National Mining Association

The National Mining Association represents U.S. mining before Congress, the administration, federal agencies, the judiciary and the media. Focusing on policymaking, regulatory and permitting matters, as well as litigation, NMA's strategic positions amplify the voice of the American mining community—and its current and future business needs.

Colorado Mining Association

CMA works strongly on Colorado mining issues and is also a major supporter of the work done by the National Mining Association.
